    At Swenam, we first assess your academic background, English ability and financial ability for FREE and let you know if you are eligible or not and help you to improve, so that you don’t waste any money or time on applications and documents.

    Any school, college or university has a non-refundable application fees that you have to pay once you choose such a program.

    Our services are free for students. You can ask any questions and book an appointment with a Swenam Academic Counsellor for FREE. However, there might be some small fees for document verification and courier services, this will be explained to you when you apply.

    All the educational institutions we collaborate with are DLI, and you can find them on the CIC list.

    Your Phase ONE application will go through the admission department and Visa department, to make sure that you are eligible to apply, so that you don’t waste any money on university applications. This can take up to two weeks, so we appreciate your patience.

    Once you are found to be eligible by Swenam admission department, you are guaranteed admission at a university/school for your chosen program.

    All required documents will appear in your account in Phase TWO of your application.

    You can book one online appointment with an academic counselor after you fill out Phase ONE application for FREE.

    You have 60 days to fully apply and submit your full Swenam application (Phases ONE and TWO) with all required documentations, from when you click on start my application.

    Most Canadian Educational institutions require either a deposit, first term tuition or full year tuition to issue your Official Letter of Acceptance, which you need to apply for your visa.

    Make sure to check your Swenam account, and your email very often. Whenever there is any update in the status of your application or if we need anything from you, you will see that in your account, and you will receive an email.

    Most of graduate degrees (Master and PhD) require students to prove their language ability stated in English Language Proficiency . Check with your academic counselor about your language requirements.

    Some programs already have English course implemented into the program.

    If you didn’t meet the minimum English requirement for your program, you can always join a pathway which waives your English language requirement.

    Duolingo is becoming more and more accepted by most universities in the world with over 3000 institutions worldwide accept Duolingo. Check with your academic counselor about your language requirements.

    Visa processing takes between 3 – 12 weeks at normal times for different countries, however some visa applications may take up to 6 months. Therefore, we always advice applicants to start applying at least 4 – 6 months (for certificates, diplomas and associate degrees) and one year (for most bachelors, masters and PhD degrees) prior to the start date.

    Getting used to speaking in and listening to a new language is not an easy thing to do, and it will happen in time. Try not to be afraid to make mistakes, this is all a part of your learning experience. Canadians are open and friendly, so if you can't understand someone, all you have to do is ask them to repeat what they have said.     Swenam will organize events and activities to help you settle in and make new friends. Swenam also always try to connect new students together, especially those studying at the same university, through Swenam Orientation event, which occurs at the beginning of the term for newly admitted students. With Swenam you will never be alone, we will always be there for you.
